Liang Yan is a member of the Yellow Heads.
Shenmue II[]
Liang is first seen along with other guys accompanying Yuan in the F Warehouse where they were making a deal with Gangfang Lin. After Wuying Ren interrupts the deal and steals the money, Ryo Hazuki is forced to deal with Liang and Jin Niu. If Ryo defeats them, Yuan will cowardly flee saying that he won't get away with what he did. If Liang and Jin defeat Ryo, they will leave him at the warehouse tied up.
Shenmue the Animation[]

Liang briefly appears in Shenmue the Animation Episode 9. He and Jin accompany Yuan in a warehouse where they are making a deal with Gangfang. Ren steals the money and runs off, leaving Ryo to fight Jin and Liang.
