Haohui Du (杜昊辉 Dù Hào Huī) is part of the Poison Brothers gang in Aberdeen.
Biography[]
Haohui is a drunk that annoys everyone who makes eye contact with him. He is the brother of Bangzhuo Du. He has an evil face, but he's really just all talk and not that tough.
Shenmue II[]
Ryo Hazuki first meets Haohui and his brother when searching for the thieves that stole his bag. He asks the brothers if they have seen a group of four people including a kid. Bangzhuo rudely says he doesn't know and tells him to scram. They then demand he pay money before he leaves. He refuses then the brothers are about to fight him, until Joy comes, then they leave with Haohui saying they'll "give him a break today".
Ryo encounters Haohui and his brother later on when setting up the Chawan Sign at either Ling Ling Porridge, the Canton Cafe or the Fu Jian Tea Shop. They come for payback and fight him, but he defeats the brothers effortlessly depending on how he does on the QTE. If Ryo defeats them, they will be intimidated by him, and refer him to the Dou Jiang Diner when he asks about a place where he can eat to set up the chawan sign. If he talks to them again after this event, they will be very nice to him and help him out when he needs it due to them being intimidated by him. If Ryo loses the fight or does not do the fight at all, he won't get the information from them, and they will still be rude to him when he talks to them.
Haohui can be seen again in Kowloon fighting Master Baihu in the Ox Building.
Shenmue the Animation[]

Haohui and his brother appear in Shenmue the Animation Episode 6. Ryo asks them if they know a place where he can stay at, and they don't know. They then demand cash from him as he is leaving for answering his question and he refuses. They end up getting into a fight, until Joy comes in and intervenes.
